CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I watched it when they initially aired them. I was sad to see the series end. They had plenty of character side plots to develop and I was saddened they never had the chance to really work out the story. I am thrilled that they have done the right thing and made a movie to finish off the story.

Me loves Firefly!!!!! I wish they had made more episodes... Fox can be so evil... *grumbles* The characters in this show were amazing. They could have just locked them in an empty room for the whole show and it would still have been interesting...

The series is awesome and so is the movie. I'm really hoping the movie helps to respawn interest in more seasons in the show. There is definately more storyline to tell and things to tie up (Dudes with the blue hands?? Why were they not in the movie? How to deal with the reavers? etc...) that either more movies or seasons can handle.
About the empty room, that sounds a lot like one episode - #8 - Out of Gas.
