I made the t-shirt. Well I've bought a t-shirt and I'm using on of these poster designs from http://home.att.net/%7ethe11thhour/ and I'm going to print it onto transfer paper and Bob's your uncle a Firefly t-shirt, pretty cheaply!

If you go to this link they have all kinds of FireFly "goodies" premade, professionally done. One could spend a small fortune if they didn't maintain their priorities.

Ok, I was just watching Angel when

I knew that Gina Torres (Zoe) was the evil Jasmine in Angel season 4, but I didn't realize Adam Baldwin (Jayne) was also in Angel, as Marcus Hamilton of Wolferman & Hart. I wonder if any of the other cast members were in Angel and/or Buffy?

i have been on cf for eons, and didn't know they had a firefly thread till today, when i was looking for a role playing thread for help...

hey, i looovveeee firefly!!! i think its tons better than farscape, and i really hope they begin this show again... i love it!!!

i saw ron glass this weekend, and he says they are still shooting river's part (summer glau) in europe!! still shooting!!???? they should be done!!!!

he said they promised if the movie was a reallly big hit, then they would consider the series again... and i asked him if they would keep the same cast... he kind of... looked to the sky a little.. and i said: "if the money is good, right?" and we both laughed at that one!

so it was great meeting him and it was great seeing how nice he is.. and it is great that the movie is finally almost here!!!!

Oh my word - I am SO SO jealous!

I kinda lent my DVDS to a friend of mine and apparently her whole family (who are like my second family) LOVE it! - She'd just seen Serenity when we spoke and is loving the whole wash-dinosaur thing!! I also found out today that a friend of mine wants to see Firefly, so I'm going to lend him my DVD once my other friends are done with it.

Yeah we've had less access to it, and the US and AUS are bigger places - so I suppose it's inevitable that it'll seem like theres very few of us!

When I get my hat i'll post a picture of myself and my friend wearing them!!

I think I first saw Firefly on the Sci-Fi channel, after it'd been cancelled...then spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out why it'd been cancelled. Seemed pretty flawless to me!

I didn't see it when it originally aired either, but I was converted to Firefly fandom in May of this year, after a close friend lent the DVDs and said you have to watch this!

Fox was increadibly stupid. The wiki entry on Firefly does a decent job explaining how uberly stupid they were.

If more and more people are converted to Firefly fandom via the showings on the Sci Fi channel and the upcoming movie, then maybe, just maybe, they'll start the show up again

Not likely. Even with the DVD's and upcoming film Joss has said that he's getting tired of doing TV. Without him there would be no point in revising the show.
On the other hand. If the film does well there is a contract in place for two sequels.

I don't think it'll be able to go back to being a TV programme, it's hard to jump from film to tv series, unless the series is well established and the film feels like a spin-off!

Film to series worked great with Stargate. I hope it will happen for Serenity.

Though more movies would be great too! Except for the wait.

Yup. Didn't Buffy start out as a movie too?

And all the movie/series/movie/series routine hasn't done the Star Trek bunch any mischief.

Yeah but StarTrek's different, cos the series and movies went together. Oh I don't know, my brain is fried at the moment!
