Fire proof trees in Maui

We could use these types of trees here in OZ where bush fires are always a threat.
Check out this short vid , which shows cars , buildings etc all burnt , and yet among the destruction there are green trees still standing , lot's of them , amazing!!

Anyway there are people saying that the gov is using some kind of microwave type weapon to do this , and that Maui was not the first.

Many of the burnt out vehicles in Maui had their engines eaten out... burn patterns similar to the burnt vehicles on 9/11. "toasted cars" are at the 55:50 mark.
