  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I know there are many difficulties in the problem of dinosaurs in regard to their blood temperature. What I was thinking…
What are the possibilities of a kind of furniture in an animal? Burning wood, is it giving enough energy? Can you regulate the temperature? Can it answer maybe some questions, or is it only throwing up more?
In the eyepoint of evolution theory it is undeclarable, I know. But how big are the other problems?

Aah, I really like this idea of a real fire breathing dinosaur.

Let me guess - you've been watching the movie "reign of fire" lately? :)

If you did not yet do so, you might want to check out available data about the bombardier beetle. I admit I'm no biologist, but I could imagine very well that a modified version of this little critter's special ability would enable a living creature to "breathe fire"... :cool:
