Finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Only with the first draft, but still! After three months of writers block (during which I cut almost all my hair off, lost 10 lbs. and took my ACT), I pulled an allnighter last night and finished my first draft for my novel!!!!!! Its really, really, really, bad, and I don't think that I'll ever send it to a publisher even if it were rewritten by Austin herself. But, anyway, I'm so glad that I actually finished it

Hey, remember - the first draft of everything is bad. Stephen King said that, but with a bit more colorful language that I can't use here But yeah, don't write off your story so easily! No one's first draft is as near as good as the final, so take a well-deserved break and stay with it. I can't imagine you pouring so much effort into something you didn't love, in at least some way.

I remember how bad my first screenplay was once it was finished. I keep it around to remind myself of how far I've come since I was 16.

The idea is that you finished. Now, you can spend the next three months editing and shredding it apart.
