In John 14, the Lord says that the spirit will remind the disciples of all that He spoke. The Lord reminded us, as we fellowship together. Praise the Lord.

God just a'busted loose with His reminders this morning hahaaa!

Yes, and in participating in them, it blessed NO ONE.

AND it distanced me from God.

Ever seen the movie Neverending Story? It's like the "nothing" in the movie, that overwhelms and removes ev'ry thing else.

Its good to know the Lord is with us. The Lords chastening is similar, although its not joyful it is fruitful. Its his declaration of love for us. Even his chastening is love.

Its good to know the Lord is with us. The Lords chastening is similar, although its not joyful it is fruitful.

Yes, and it's most difficult for me, always has been...it's the "pain" thing (and why i avoided the book of Job for soooo long) BUT i realize, now, that whatever "pain" comes from God's chastening, it is temporary, and it really IS for our own good, and we can actually REJOICE afterwards.

Yes, I do that almost habitually.

That's why i'm so thankful for God's grace and forgiveness.

Yes, and it's most difficult for me, always has been...it's the "pain" thing (and why i avoided the book of Job for soooo long) BUT i realize, now, that whatever "pain" comes from God's chastening, it is temporary, and it really IS for our own good, and we can actually REJOICE afterwards.

I read proverbs sometimes and feel like a fool. However, this is good. God gives grace to the humble. Praise the Lord.

As i think about it, and God's inexplicable grace and patience, and forgiveness for me, i am more inclined to extend that same grace to others more and more as i realize that we are ALL in need of His grace, even those who do not realize it YET.
