  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It was really good. It may have been a chick flick in a sense, but it had good morals to it... I liked the story and the way it was filmed... I recommend it to all... Johnny Depp wasn't too shaby either, I enjoyed his character... I dont wanna give it away,so if you've seen it, what did you think?

I think it was a very, very, very well done movie. Johnny Depp is becoming one of my favorite actors due to his acting ability, and the diversity of the roles he plays.

I don't think i've ever seen a movie that reminded me to have a faith that is childlike. My imagination was seriously rekindled when I watched this movie. A friend of mine (rgbivens on the forum) were talking tonight about how when we'd open gifts as a kid, we didn't care about the toys, we'd rather play with the box! Oh how Christianity would be so much better off if we would relive the "dangerous wonder" of our faith. Finding neverland reminded me of how magical my imagination can be.

Such a wonderful film!

Strictly speaking as a theatre student, I loved the scenes showing the early 20th century stage!
Strictly as a Johnny Depp fangirl-because-he's-a-really-good-actor;) , he does an amazing job!
Strictly as a Kate Winslet fan, she makes this film work. Even though she's always in the corsets, with the limited breath and mobility...she's still one of the best actors around!

Strictly as someone who likes movies...WOW! A must-see!

Basically...this is on my TopTenList. It is a wonderful film, a film that deals with some serious issues, but in a delicate way that is honest, but not graphic-a rare thing these days. One of the only other examples I can think of is "Sense and Sensibility", another Kate Winslet film. However, I think Finding Neverland has broader appeal, although both are top-notch movies.

Here comes the confession! LOL. I'm a guy and I cried in this film. Nope, I'm not ashamed...it's a darn good movie! I think it should get a slew of Oscars, too. The ending was so beautiful! I made all of my friends go and see it!
