CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I LOVE NEMO! But what the.....Walt Disney movies killing off all the moms. Bambi's mom, Cinderella's mom, Nemo's mom....I don't get it!

i love disney movies as well. I think some shows on the disney channel these days arent so great though. Ive seen some shows on there that had some adult humor that I dont think is inappropriate for little kids.

I was wondering the same thing after I watched it. I think it's a conspirecy, lol. Even in Beauty and the Beast there was no mom and the Lion King!! I don't get it. Maybe cause Walt didn't have a wife, I dunno, lol.dsdumpling said:

Dory so much reminds me of a lady I work with. She is just that scatter brained. She even sounds like her. I got the movie a few days ago and have watched it nearly every day. I still cry at the end when Nemo goes to school and then has to stop and come back and give his dad a hug.... big blubbering cry baby!

Finding Nemo is great, i've seen it 3 times at the movies already.i love dori, she's great!!! I can't believe they killed the mum though - It was so sad.

Oh, I thought it was the mom who died in Lion King. I only saw the movie once, it remined me of Bambi. Basicly the same story.
I'll take away Lion King from my list and add The little Mermaid, she didn't have a mom.
