Hello everyone!
I was wondering if any of you have any advice on seeking spiritual direction? I lead a pretty high-stress life and sometimes I forget to make my faith a priority. How do I go about finding a spiritual director? How do I find someone who will be a good fit? And is it common for lay people to ask for spiritual direction? If you could share any experiences/advice that would be great. Pax!

Go to church. Talk to your priest and see if he can recommend someone. Keep attending Mass and get to know the people in your church. Pray that God brings someone into your life. :)

Very good advise! Being a member of a fairly large parish, our Pastor is a very busy man, so I asked if he could recommend someone,,,,, and he did. He recommned me to a Priest at the seminary and Abby that he attended that's close to where I live. I called him, set up a meeting, we seem to click and agreed to meet two times a month. This 92 year old priest has been a blessing to my life, and I thank God for it, and using my Parish priest in doing so.

Thanks be to God!
