Finding a Church

Hello. I hope this post will be okay here. My apologies if not. Can someone please help me find a good, conservative Lutheran church to attend. Thank you.

Back in the 1990's (as a Confessional Lutheran) the LCMS was showing signs of compromise, I would have thought by now they would have gone down the ecumenical slide. I personally would go with WELS/ELS if I were to choose Lutheran again.

When I was a Lutheran, when questioned, a WELS pastor told me that the reason their Church rented out the building to a Korean Reformed Church was because their doctrine was closer to the Lutherans than some of the Lutheran Churches are (here in America). That is one possible angle to look into.

It may or may not help, but please feel free to email my own pastor, as he may well be able to help you. We are a confessional Lutheran church in the U.K., and our pastor is from Finland, but did much of his training in Fort Wayne, but also served in South Africa. In short, he is very well travelled, and seems to know Lutheran pastors just about everywhere. Or at least that's how it seems to me.

Right now, I'm searching for any kind of Lutheran church that has an English speaking ministry.
