finally!!!!!

I've been trying 4 ever to attach a picture of my kids. A digital camera makes the pics to big, my camera phone pics won't upload and ......... I've just been having to many problems with this puter. So finally I attached a picture of my kids. Anyways anyone know how i can upload pics that I send myself from my phone, or how to get the digital camera pics smaller. Any help I would apprecaite.

Your son in his little suit! I could just eat him up! And your daughter is just perfect!

As far as sizing pictures goes, I always have to let my husband do it or occasionally use the software that came with my digital camera.

Some people I know use Shutterfly but I don't know if they let you correct the pictures you store and such.

When it comes to posting and/or sizing pictures, I don't know anything about it. Generally my husband takes care of that for me.

Thanks for your comments!! THey are cutr ain't they, I've very proud. There's this one pic that I want to show but I can't figure out how to do it cause I took it with my phone, Oh well. Did you get to see the picture on small size or the big size. Cause I noticed when it pulled up It was medium and I clicked on the arrow at the bottom of the pic and it got even bigger. Just wonderin, trying to figure out if it is just my puter that does that or everyones. I'm bored can't ya tell!!!! Anyways thanks again.

Both. After looking at the small picture, I clicked on it and looked at the larger one.

wow this is different from a different computer, I'm staying at my mom's and I couldn't remember my password so I had to go to my old name before we moved and I became Picklereed4. Oh well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are using Windows, you should be able to use Paint to make your images smaller. I'm using Windows XP and Paint is under Programs -> Accessories -> Paint. The path may be a little different for older versions...? I don't remember.

1. Open Paint and then go File -> Open to open the image you want to make smaller.
2. Once your picture is up, you can go to Image -> Stretch/Skew. A little box will pop up.
3. You want to use the top part, Stretch. It will say Horizontal and Vertical and have text boxes to enter numbers (a percentage of the original size). So, for example, if you enter 50, it will make the picture half as big as it started out.
4. Double check to make sure you have the same number in both of the textboxes (Horizontal and Vertical) for the Stretch tool. If you don't, your picture will be distorted.
5. Then just save the file, or do Save As if you don't want to save over the bigger picture.
