Finally!!! Welcome to the CF's REAL new servers! :D

Okay, after another 24 hours of tweaking and reinstalling, CF's new servers are finally running at top speeds!

CF had moved to brand new servers which are all much more powerful than our old ones - however, for some reason we were running slower - I figured the problem out and realised that this is because our operating system kernel, FreeBSD, was compiled to only see 1 processor when our servers actually have 4 - this caused CF to slow down to a crawl.

Well, the kernel was recompiled on all servers which were all rebooted.

However, in that process, the time on all servers were wrong. However, be aware that any posts made when the time was wrong will be OUT OF SYNC in the thread or forum - you'll have to look back to find them.

This has been fixed (I left work early to come home to do it).

So we are now finally on CF's new servers, with top speed!!!
