Finally. I am surprised

Well, I am amazed.
We haven't had a church for a year and a half, and hadn't gone to one since October. Lo and behold, today I finally got a call from this Assemblies church I had been trying to get a ride to for 2 years and they found someone.
Now maybe we can finally have a church. Its not even far, and I know and like Assemblies.

It was a large church. I am used to only 150. The sermon was on the da vinci code. Very good worship and prayer offering afterwards.

The good thing with Assemblies is you know what you are getting. Many times I've tried a new church and was like, uh, darn it.
My son and I just dislike hymnal music; we prefer contemporary worship, as its called.

Awesome to hear...consider going deeper if possible. All churches need help - if there's any way you can go from being a service attender to being a servant of the church, seek it out.

Trust me, you have gifts, and they need you!

True! Long ago, we went to an Assemblies, and afterward the pastor came up to me and asked where in the ministry I thought I could serve! That was the first time we visited. Guess they were shorthanded.

We are not totally sure about the church, it was a bit long at 2 hours.
Tomorrow we are going to the first church I ever went to after I became a Christian.
