Final Fantasy XI (FFXI)

Hey,

I was just wondering how many here (if any) play FFXI. If you do, could you give an overall opinion on what you think of the game?

Sorry cant say ive played it, but have you heard the price it costs to play it? Its like over £100 a year not including the price of the game

FFx-2 is out next week in the UK and FF12 is looking awesome id stick to them.

and FFXI is interesting, not really ALL THAT, but its fun.

Well me and hubby both have played ffx and we plan on getting ffx-2 when we can. I would also like to try ff12 too.

uhg, i think ff is over rated. and since FFCC *got good ratings from review that said it wasen't that good* and Final fantasy 10-2 *only a few redeeming qualitys* got rave reviews when there where so many horrible things about it (and the people who reviewd it said that and it still got great reviews).

and ff12 already! remeber the good ol days when we had a 2 year break from ff to ff...

go play a real rpg like xeno saga, suikoden 2, or FF7 , 3, or 10, just to name a few.

I think FFX-2 is a great game! Its not better than FFX but I still think it was very fun... I do play FFXI as well and think its awesome... I play it with any (and I mean any) free time I have... I'm even in a FFXI clan.. I think the graphics and sound are awesome.. Gameplay could use some tweaks.. overall I would give it an 8/10

Well i am one of the few people that don't allow the FF name to change my thoughts about the game. The skimpy out fits or the HORRIBLE DIALOGE and characters. ...But if you like blondes, this is the game for you.

and i am just annoyed with FFXI right now, I hate talking to FF fanboys, and MMORPG's was my excape, but not that FFXI is out....there is no excape.

But its a good game, I would give it a 7.5/10 I found there where alot of USLESS things in the game, but its pretty fun.

I've got FFXI... haven't played it lately out of frustration, though. Mainly because I KEEP DYING. >_<

I hate this whole "lose your EXP when you die" thing. It's ridiculous.

And the other pointless this is that you can't pick what server you want to play on, and World Passes are pretty darn expensive. Argh, my friend JUST got the game, and spent quite a bit of time trying to get onto my server so we could play together, but he STILL has yet to get on my server.

My character is a human warrior, I play on Carbunkle and my character's name is Teron.
