Final Fantasy X-2 Lives up to Expectations!

This game is definately awesome. Although the girls can be wierd at some times, it is very funny. The battle system resembles FFIX. The character development is great and although you can get through the main story really fast, there are so many other places to go and familiar characters to meet. The CGI graphics are great with a faster frame rate in gameplay. The garment grids are really nice and all of the classes are really cool. I like the way you learn new abilities fast and that you actually level up without the sphere grid. This game is all around great and should play it if they like RPG's, and if they don't, I'm most people would still like it.

I had a chance to play it for a bit at Hollywood Video. Although the change sequences were kinda goofy, I thought it was pretty cool. The only complaint I have is that they changed the voice for Yuna. She sounds more squeaky now. Other than that, definitely a contender for Game of the Year.

Yeah, her voice is kind of wierd now and the cut-scenes (is that what you meant) are definately goofy now.

They didn't change Yuna's voice. Her voice actor (Hedy Burress) was just required to adjust to Yuna's newfound changes in character. I can't wait to get this game in just a few more weeks!

i have yet to play X-2... but its on my priority list

theyve even got the page set up for ffxii so there is more to look forward to in the near future

Yes FFXII has definitely gotten me super EXCITED!

I've never been this excited over a game for as long as I can remember.

I really want to get this. I liked FFX, when some didn't. I put 80 hours into it. I put 60 hours into Star Wars KOTOR, I beat it on the light side. So my plan is to get FFX-2, beat it in less than 60 Hours and play SW KOTOR on the dark side. On a side note I saw some footage from Kingdom Hearts 2 yesterday and it looks good too.

I just beat Chapter 2 of FFX-2 and the job system adds a whole lot of depth into the game

This is a decent game. I liked the new job system alot. The goofy cutscenes and charlie angels like stuff with the girls I didn't like so much, kinda annoying if you ask me. But overall a pretty cool game, worth playing through at least once.
