Paths of Glory

Anti-war movie about the execution of three French soldiers accused of treason in W.W.I. Kirk Douglas is at his very finest in this one.

A Few Good Men

Outstanding movie (also a stage play) about a military trial with stellar performances by Tom Cruise, Demi Moore, and Jack Nicholsen.

While it's rare that I'll watch movies more than once or twice in a short time period there are a few exceptions. I watch a lot of Walt Disney animated films more than once. DH and I last watched Cars. I also watch a lot of animated movies like Shrek, and Planet 51. We watch James Bond movies a lot, but I still haven't gotten through every Bond movie we have. After I've watched all the Bond films that I have we will probably re-watch them again starting from Dr. No. I kind of want the Sean Connery Bond films on blu. Clue is a standby for us when we can't decide on what to watch. I've must have seen that film over a thousand times. In preparation for Deathly Hallows Part II we re-watched all of the previous Harry Potter films. As a fan of Alan Rickman and Tim Allen Galaxy Quest is one we'll watch a lot.

During various holidays we'll watch The Ref, Beetlejuice, Sleepy Hollow, The Shining, National Lampoon's, The Great Outdoors, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Home Alone, Christmas Story, multiple versions of A Christmas Carol, etc. There are just some movies that put me in a happy mood for different holidays and seasons of the year  Which is why I always watch football on Thanksgiving, it's a tradition for me now to watch the Detroit Lions lose.
