CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My daughter is into figure skating. She has been skating since she was 7yrs. old. She is taking private lessons for about 5 or 6 yrs.She is now 20 she still takes lessons, but she also coaches Special Olympics,She has 4 students.

my wife watches and is a skating history buff... i am a very casual watcher mostly when she is watching. i am amazed at thier abilitys on the ice and i enjoy pairs skating (where they can toss each other) the most.

my parents started me skating at 5 and i stayed with it until 12 seriously then I left that sport for full time dancing..sadly, my ballet comes first and trying to get to the ice rink where i live now from where i grew up is putting a damper on my skating. its been over 8 months since i was on the ice,you skate for me pixie!!!

I may be coaching figure skating starting in february. I haven't been on the ice in a year, but I definetly love it. I was able to pass level and and get into freestyle! If I don't coach in february then I am going to be a sub and take lessons. Either way I really need to get back on the ice.

yes, but no... It's so expensive and I am in college, so I haven't been able to get back on the ice. =(
