Fighting the desire to have an encounter with a guy

Hey I am new here,

I Have been attracted to guys for over 10 years. I Have made the effort to stop jacking off and its been a little over 3 weeks which is best progress in years,but now that I Have..the thoughts are worse. <edit>
I can't tell you how much I desire to meet up with a guy<edit>. Not sex..just curious stuff. I am a virgin and im 26. No gf..and my life is going no where right now. Kudos for God helping me on the jacking off part. <edit>

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.... scarlet and white 2 distinctive colours ..scarlet signifies the degree of deviation from what its suppose to be ..scarlet is like the worst colour when compared to white ..where white is purity..

It easy to encourage other but its hard to encourage yourself ..sometimes im weary beyond weary and others dont understand the big burden we carry .. some are too weak to carry it and they depart from God permanently ..my heart weeps and ache..but be strong my friend ..

In the book of Proverbs, in the Bible, God tells us not to put ourselves in the path of sin, but to stay away from places where temptation will surely win out over us. Ask yourself why you want to go there and what you are curious about, and you will have your answer.

Just a reminder that once you "mess around" or have sex...you cant take that back. Someday when God has fully purified you and blessed you with a wife, you will be glad you waited! Trust God that he has a plan for you! Hang in there pal.

the best thing to fight against temptation is asking for the power of god to help you overcome it and have the victory.

If you keep praying not jjust at night and morning but throughout the day also and you can claim these promises verses

1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

ask for god to work through you with the holy spirit and to take away the desires and temptations for guys and make it know you want to give your life to him

Luke 18:1 Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart,

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
