  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What is FFFC Club?? Well, I'm going to give this a try and see if there is any interest and/or response. I am hopeful that anyone who reads this, will be able to benefit from open, honest discussion about the healing found through Jesus Christ and the challenges that face MANY Christians, who have walked out the "gate" , have left the razor-wire behind, and are now followers of Jesus. FFFC = Felons Fellowship For Christ.

The challenges that face men and women who are in the process of "re-entry" into society after incarceration are daunting. Many are homeless and are released into communities where they have no support (family or otherwise), and nowhere to go. Many are literally dropped off at a bus station. The lucky one's have a chance at a half-way house, but the challenges remain, either way.

My testimony of over 4 years in federal prison is one that gives glory to God and I thank Him everyday for that time away. I am one of the lucky one's - I have support, am educated, and at age 57, can now devote what time God see's fit, to serving Him. I am the exception.

I invite any and all to be a part of this club - especially those who have been where I've been and are struggling. I was blessed while in prison, and spent the last 28 months before I was released in Sept. '14, in a federal prison, faith-based, residential program in Virginia called "Life Connections". Believe me, there are many fellow Christians still behind the razor-wire, who have repented of their sins, and are followers of Jesus Christ. My time in Virginia was more like "bible college" than incarceration. To God be the glory. Now, I live with my cat in the mountains, and give glory to God daily.

Please join me...there are so many men and women who need our love and support!!
