I've been at it off and on with it for a while, but it's all a bit too disorganized for my liking. I have a gas furnace as well, but the problem is that the blower is electric, so wouldn't do me much good without the electricity. My hot water is a gas tank though.

Yep, my furnace/water heater are same as yours. Both are gas, but need electric to work. So, no power grid, no heat. Not good in Winter.

We were without utilities for about a month due to a disaster. Wish we had been better prepared.

Never realized how much water it takes to wash dishes. How long ice last in the cooler? Things for the kids to do. ETC

Thousands of little things that people need to know. Amazing how long dry ice will last in a cooler.

Havent seen dry ice lately but know it is a great product.
