CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good evening everyone~I want to report that my Dad is now home. A neurologist came in to see him and told him he did not have a stroke. However, he did have transient global ammesia. The doctors do not know how and why it happens. There is no cause for it. The good news is that they said it will not recurr. He was told not to push it to hard. If he gets tired working to quit. The Doctor had to remind him he was 76
I want to take this time to "Thank" all our CF friends for the prayers. I feel our family was put through a trial and with God's guidance we over came. Many of your prayers were answered. Mine was that if it was not a stroke to find out what it was, and, we got our answer tonight.
My Dad will be back on his computer tomorrow writing his devotions and doing his Bible verses.
Again, "Thank you" and may God bless everyone of you.

Thanks be to God that doc is okay and that this won't be happening again to him. Thank You Lord for covering him and hearing our prayers. Thank You Lord that it was not something too serious such as a stroke. Thank You Lord that doc will be coming back to us again!
We got to stick together as the Body of Christ.....if we don't...what's it all about? Online or at home, we need to uphold our own. Thank you to all who prayed here on the prayer forum and in secret for doc. Glory goes all to God for His awesomeness in hearing our prayers and helping doc and his family when he needed it most. Great news, and it has made my entire day! Thank you barb for letting us know!
