EVERYDAY IS THANKSGIVING

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you, Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as
possible, thank you, Lord, that I can see.
Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, my children are so loud thankyou, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job is often monotonous, thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.
Thank you, Lord for the friends and special times that touch my life in so many ways.
There are many who are not so lucky.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for life.

Oh my gosh that is so good. Thank you for posting it and for the reminder that I/we have so much to be thankful for.

This past week I've been in a fog, I miss my buddy Scott.

David's at work today. I baked his favorite cookies for when he gets home...oatmeal raisin. :yum:

How're you doing Sis? How's the new family?
I'm sorry about him, for his family mostly and his friends who loved him :(

I am good; hormonal and yucky, but otherwise fine.
Just hanging out with half the family, and praying over stuff, and messing around on here.

My family is great. We have some issues with the other parents, but praying and giving them to God.

I'm sure you all will have a transition time. It ain't easy blending families together. Been there, done that, still have the battle scars. I know it can work, my brother and his wife have a blended family, they are the best I've ever seen. The adults have to take the stand that this is a family and you must treat each other with respect.
Yes, we do believe this.
He is a very sweet, patient man, and he listens to me if I have an issue.
I do the same for him.
The children do test us, too. Esp. mine.:help:
