CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey folks 
We are in Pana, IL visiting David's parents. We're leaving tomorrow morning headed to Texas. Not sure how far we'll get. Friday we will be meeting up with a good friend of mine for dinner, then we're headed to San Antonio, hoping to hear Max Lucado Sunday morning.

I used to, but haven't for years because of expenses and children.
Dawn has outtraveled me so far; lol.
Now I have just been going back and forth to see my future husband and he has been coming here to see me, and once in a while we make a side trip, if you know what I mean.

I have not been to that part of the south since my 7 y.o. was 2 months old.
Went to MO a few weeks ago, so it was pretty close alright.

David and I spent most of the day in San Antonio. We then went to find Max's church. The marquee said...GUEST SPEAKER!!! Grrrrr...so we didn't stay. Oh well, we tried.
