I just wanted to check and see if anyone has heard anything from Christy or Carol since the storms yeaterday...still praying

Hey everybody, we made it through the storms and tornados. The town that was so horribly damaged is Enterprise and is just 30 minutes from us. That is the town where my baby will be delivered. It's just so sad that something like that has happened. You hear about it on the news and it's usually so far away from you and to have it so close is just the creepiest thing. Mom is ok too. They got a report that a tornado was right up the road, they jumped in their car and left. I was so upset, I could not believe they got in a car!!!! so I get this call about 10pm last night that they are pretty much dodging a tornado. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. She called me back and they were fine and heading back home. We started hearing reports that there were six tornados up over our heads headed in our direction, I told my children, all you can do is pray and let God do the rest. Well your prayers, the prayers of my children and us all were heard. Thank ya'll for your prayers.

Thank God you are safe, Christy! We were so concerned. I logged on as soon as I got up this morning to see if you had posted.

It seems to be a tragedy filled news day with the tornados and the bus accident which has taken the lives of 6 college baseball team members.

We really need to remember these families in prayer.

I fussed at her and told her she should not be in a car!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My step dad said that he wanted to get them out of the trailer. They could have ran right into one and not even known it! Thank you for your concern honey and have a wonderful evening.

OH honey, bless your heart and thank you for your concern. I have just been so heart broken at all the tragedy going on around us. One of the students at the Enterprise high school was the son of my step dad's friend. He had been unaccounted for and they found him under a bunch of cement. I was up this morning at 5 am when I saw that horrible bus crash. It has been a sad time for everyone.
