CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I love the idea for this thread. We have been experiencing some thunderstorms that were pretty spectacular. I remember when my children were small, I used to turn out the lights and we would just watch the lightning, and ooo and ahhh at the thunder rumbling after each lightning strike. I used to play this song too, because I did not want them to be afraid of the storm.

These recent storms were deadly sad to say. A lot of people died.

Awww, don't want you to get blown away with the wind. I'm having a good day but lots of paper work to do that is a bit stressful. I'm managing to stay happy and at peace through it all. So I'm glad. Thanks for asking. How are you? I hope you are managing to find some comfort. Moist heat helps me.

Hi, glad your enjoying the weather. Nice here too. It's fun to kick back and watch a show you really like. Hate to admit it but I never could get into doctor who. I do like my British mysteries though.
