  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Cloudy and getting ready to rain again, I am ready for dry weather

That's too bad. We had rain here over night but the sun is shining now. I don't mind weather like this in the spring because it cleans the air and dirty snow away and then we get the sun glistening on the water. Rather pretty. Hopefully you'll see some sun soon.

responded with: Oh, well - all the more reason
to skip  ... thru LIFE with SUNshine  in your heart
yuppers:
When there's sunshine in your heart, it will keep the clouds at bay...
and your cares will All depart, When there's sunshine in your heart :p TODAY

um, can I ask a dumb question: After you snap the picture, how do you get the picture into :D the Computer?
That is not a dumb question. You see, my camera, being it is digital, has what is called, a "flash card" after I take the pictures, I can take the little "card" out, put it in a device that is attached to a USB cord, then, I plug the USB cord into a slot on my computer, instructions then come up asking how I want to download, etc. It really is super easy, believe me.

I bought a digital camera last summer before my holiday and it's nicer than a regular camera. I can take many pictures and weed out the good from the bad rather than developing them all and wasting money. However, I wish I would have done more research on the features and brands before I bought mine. But they're great.

Hi Susie,
I'm a pretty fast learner most of the time, but
I was forced into dumb  mode, re anything puter related. -
See,
in the 80's I was excited to learn about them puters, as
one of my ambitions was owning a robot  that would
give me the daily-GOOD news, serve me meals, do the housework,
go exercise with me, & do the taxes, lol - just those few things, mind you.
So,
I enrolled in a computer-class, because
IF someone didn't hurry-up & build this critter, I was gonna do it myself ;)
Alas,
unbeknownst to us students at that time, teacher was
a child-molester ; so to make sure
we didn't accidentally discover that, he issued Warning...
NEVER!, ever
touch the keys except for what I tell you,
'cause if you hit 1 wrong key, computer will break & it will never!! work again"
We didn't know any better, we were freaked-out, so he won! -
Well, my daughter was already helping me on the computer at only age 3;
as I sat there hyperventilating...in my computer-panic.

With endless re-assurances, that Experimenting with computers was mostly safe
little by little Child-curiosity led me into trying this & that, but still I lag far behind  other's computer skills.
---
So with this little background, Feel FREE helping me learn more... :D
1. How is a Digital-camera, like a Camcorder?
&
2. How does the film in either, get developed?
&
3. Now for the Fun-part: once I figured-out our Camcorder,
I could set it on the barrier-edge at the rink, &
(after got over the shock of how my skating now looks),
considering I cont. learning to Awaken kinesthetically, plus
looking out thru our own eyes only, makes for a different ice-experience
I know from other skaters, that studying their own replays helps improve  moves...
So, I have given this Camcorder-experiment... lots of thought.
Got any suggestions
, Susie?
.

lossa workie still to do :) today. Hey did you hear we had
an eentsy Earthquake: "a 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit near Mount Rainier
Wed. at 10:45 a.m, 17 miles east of Ashford. No reports of damage."
I was driving to my Massage-appt. just then; but
didn't know until all the Electricity in the whole town was off for an hour.

Now, I wonder how Susie  will answer my questions.

AND How are you :) Kathy? - How is your head? & Vision? & everything else optimally  working?
