CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yeah, they have to increase their bandwidth for me and all the smilies I use.Well, yesterday someone showed me smileycentral and now I learned / me. So I guess I'll spend the day overusing them in the forum!
Other than that, I've got do some work, homeschool my kids, and finish up my cleaning for Passover.

I had a friend here (which reminds me I should look him up) that lives in Jerusalem. When his wife got a room cleaned she would shut it off to the family. They have a couple boys. She would even use a feather on the windowsills to make sure there was no yeast. Awesome.Well, yesterday someone showed me smileycentral and now I learned / me. So I guess I'll spend the day overusing them in the forum!
Other than that, I've got do some work, homeschool my kids, and finish up my cleaning for Passover.

I've actually got to go today. I didn't realize it was so late. Amazing how "I'll check my email and spend 10 minutes on CF" turns into "Yikes, I've been here for 2 hours!"
