I'm doing well but will be better.
We're supposed to be in for a hot stretch the next few days. I hate hot weather. And I have to mow the lawn and weed and . .
blech.
But the sun's out, the birds are singing and flowers are blooming so life's good!

David mowed our lawn this morning. Since we got that nor'easter the grass is growing so fast. We won't need rain for a while

Things are okay. I think my snit yesterday hurt someone I didn't want to hurt, so I'm going to have to figure a way to make amends. Things will work out though.
Do you have plans for the weekend or are you planning to recover from your trip (it takes me about 3-4 days to completely recover after I've gotten back)?

We are going to our sons for a Birthday party for our grandson, he will be 3. It is supposed to be really warm so should be fun as we can be outside.

A couple of friends (a married couple) are coming down this weekend, so I'll hang out with them a bit. Nothing's finalized yet, though, so that could change.
There's also a meeting on what's expected of new church members. That'll be interesting. I asked one of the folks in charge how long that would be, when it would end. She said "5-ish." 5-ish, Gracie? "you know the pastor," she said as she rolled her eyes.
The last official announcement said 5:30. So I'm kinda thinking 5:30-ish.
Other than that, the usual: housework and miscellaneous chores.

I'm really surprised that we got our refund this early. Plus they gave us our advance on next years taxes. You know, you don't hear that part...it's an advance, not a gift.
