Good morning Ya'll!

After a rough weekend, getting ready for a major hurricane that God is keeping turned from the Texas coast, dealing with my god-daughter over a pretty big matter, and then having my SUV (The Grover Mobile) die on me for no reason, I figured why not start another thread like the Inner Room.

I know for me it's hit or miss with the site the Inner Room became because of work and firewalls. Why not continue what Bondman did?

I would like and want this to be a place where we can fellowship. I don't want to see issues brought into this thread and if it happens I am willing to close it down.

We all need a place to just share and chat on levels that only other Christians will understand.

Dean did pass us. God was good to Texas on this one. Actually, He was good to the US. If that thing had hit us oil production would have stopped and it would have effected everyone in the US.

today was a rough day...sheesh. I thought I was having the nerve test done...nope, just an appointment to see IF I needed it..I do..so I go on the 5 for that. GRR...LOL...anyway!

Prayers. Sorry to hear you have these troubles. My car has been in the shop for 3 weeks waiting for the right parts. Okay, the aged car that it is, the parts are very hard to find. Well, they finally found some, and ordered them. I rented a car for a week, but it was all I could afford, and had to give the car back to the rental company. I'm still waiting for my car, and the repair bill is going to take a while to recover from.

I so agree. There are plenty of threads for theological discussion and debate - fellowship is very important for us I think.

Hi everyone, how are you all today? Today I think is going to be a good day. I hope. It would be nice... especially since it is Sunday! And it has been raining all week - God is GOOD! Today is a beautiful spring day - full of promises. Perhaps I will hear God speak today? I hope so I really really do. I would so love Him to break this silence and speak to me... One thing I have learnt this weekend is no matter what... no matter how far I feel from God, how much I want to stop praying cos it all seems futile... giving up is not an option. Because HE never gives up on me!

Sorry about not being on for a few days. On Friday, we had to put my Spanky Dog down and it has been really hard.

We had had him for 14 years.

I am not crying as much. I think the big issue is that I was there. We had to hold him so they could inject him.

OH my. Yes, that would do it! What kind of dog? And was it just cause he was old? or was he sick? Either way, that is SO hard. I am SO sorry.

He was going deaf and blind. The main reason was the fact his hips were failing on him and he was in a lot of pain.

Spanky was a lab mix.

Thanks...really thanks. I think part of my problem is I am not talking about it and because he is so afraid of the vet, I had to help hold him so they could inject him.

Part of me has felt so bad about that and at the same time I am glad I was able to pet him and hold him.

It also is the first time I have seen anyone die before.
