CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What really sucks is when the heat slams us, and then the clouds set in... all the hot air gets trapped and it feels like an over-heated living room with no fan or air conditioning, and the windows closed. I'd rather it be just plain hot.

We just finshed with an extended period of that kind of weather a few weeks ago, it has been warm since then but nowhere near as bad

I know what it is like Ruth, I can't sleep at all during daylight hours. I've never been able to, even when I worked nightshift

I hope you sleep well Ruth... I have had major problems with that since August, so I know how you feel. I probably won't be in bed until hours from now unless I get really tired and start falling asleep at the computer. That has been happening a lot more often lately; guess all this fatigue is catching up to me. Plus I'm working more.
