CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Heavenly father, I pray that you would be with her and lift the feelings of sadness. I pray that you would replace the sadness with your comfort and peace. In Jesus name amen.

praying for you during this difficult time. we all have moments of sadness, but if yours is persistent, for weeks or months, talk to your doctor. if you're depressed, there are ways to heal that. in Jesus Name, Amen.

Dear Lord Jesus please help Kathy to not be overwhelmed with sadness. I know there are so many things in this world that bring sadness and feelings we don't know how to control. But we can do All things through Christ who strengthens us. Always You overcome. Please bring people across her path to bring a bit of joy to her soul and nourish her with Your Words in her spirit. Let her know how very special and wonderful she is. Tell her that if she were the only one on earth You still would have given everything just for her because she is that special to You. Lord please bless Kathy with the gift of joy and peace and bring peace to the situation that is causing her sadness. Help her to learn how to battle these things when they threaten to tear her sweet spirit down. Strengthen her and make her that warrior for You. I have studied the prophets Lord and I know that they led solitary sad lives at times and sometimes even fell down refusing to get up until You sent Your angels to minister to them. Lord I ask that You send angels to minister to her spirit and soul today and help her. Thank You Lord for this precious Child of God. I ask this in Jesus Christ Holy Name Amen
Hang in there hon. You are not alone. I fight with it daily. Mine is complete loneliness and despair of being left in a world without anyone that really wants to be bothered with me. My past has been very sorrowful some my fault some not. I've gone through a rape and attempted murder and deal with troubled dreams where I relive the moments over and over. Though I have forgiven the persons my subconscious does not forget. I don't have a car so I can't get out and I was crippled from an accident in 2001 so there are many days I face days of bad pain due to physical damage from the accident and following surgeries. I chose not to be dependent on pain killers so I struggle with pain a lot. It wears a person down. Then not having a car makes it even worse. So I understand pain and I understand things that bring sadness to your life. Many are different reasons but it all has the same answer. JESUS! He makes me smile. He will make you smile too. Just hang in there and read Psalms 86 it is so encouraging if you read it like a prayer. I believe there is power in His Word! Hang on child of THE KING! God bless you
