Amen. Isn't that the Love that the Lord wants us to walk in? I feel at home in that. Amen. Im glad to be who i am, i find purpose in it. I know that probably sounds strange, but its true. I may suffer mental problems, but i have found peace in it, although i have times that seem restless.

If we cant love & accept ourselves and be honest about who we are..how can we love & accept others I reckon

Im in midlife and been through alot, its wore me down and so i dont much care what others think of me anymore. However if i were younger it would be much harder to accept myself for who i am.

Yes, i still care but i noticed that it doesn't effect me as much as it did when i was younger.

Stop listening to the world my friend. The world is blind. Isn't it the world who values things like popularity, success and strength? Isn't is also the world who doesn't love Christ? Dont listen to Christians who don't understand our struggles either, because they are listening to the world as well, they think that success, strength and popularity are what matters, but to God those things are useless. Look at the people who loved Christ the most. They were the outcasts of society, the people that the world looked down on.

I guess to an extent I'm still worldly, even though I'm not successful according to the world. I guess I need to work on that. you're right though, what the world values God doesn't value.

We are all a bit worldly, me as well. I frequently need to adjust my thinking so it conforms to holiness. This world we live in is constantly trying to lead us astray from the right path. Perhaps that's what the bible means by being renewed in our mind. The apostle Paul teaches us to meditate on truth, purity and things that are noble and praiseworthy. Its good to remind each other to follow holiness.
