  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When did you feel your baby move?

I'm feeling a familiar fluttering movement, but I am only 12 weeks and the feeling is about the same hight as my belly button, and I'm not sure that the uterus is even up that high yet??

Anyway I know that the feeling movement is earlier with each pregnancy, but I'm thinking it is more likely to be my tummy stretching and getting bigger!

I felt movement before 12 weeks. I was actually feeling baby move around by 8-10 weeks.

Then again, I can tell difference in uterine pain, intestinal and stomach related pains, since I have struggled so much with it more than half my life. I knew something was 'up' by the time we took the test, and not long after we'd had our first checkup (around 8-9 weeks) I was feeling flutters.

I feel him moving several times a day, usually before or after meal time, and if I am sitting for a long period of time or active and then non-active..

I felt the first flutters at 18 weeks, but didn't feel it often at all until last week, at 22 weeks. Now, I feel him everyday, but not all day long. Maybe 3-5 times a day, he'll kick me enough to feel it. I think I'm not feeling more movement because my placenta is anterior (in the front) and it blocks a lot of his kicks.

I felt mine befor 12 weeks this time. It is possible to feel the baby if you have are toned, or if you have had multiple pregnanies because your uturues is thinner. At the time I am never quite sure but as the baby grows I was like oh yeah that was what I was feeling.
