  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lately it just feels as though nobody reads anything I ever write. The only way anyone ever responds is when I start a new thread, even then it's lik 3 responses at most. And the one time someone did read one of my responses, they only read the part of it they wanted to and completely missed the point. The other forums I'm a part of everyone actually seems to enjoy my input. *shrugs* Oh well, that's why my ministry is to other pilots.

I know this is certainly nothing new on here, especially with sooo many active posts/forums. I'm guilty of the same thing... I try, but most of the time just chime in with my own idea. I've done this more lately since nobody ever seems to read ANYTHING but the original post when replying. So I do the same now.

Just curious, who else feels completey invisible here? Lets join in and be invisible together!
