  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

As word spread about the operation unfolding on Rose Ave., neighbors and activists calling themselves "constitutional observers" streamed in, holding phones in the air to videotape what was unfolding. Tensions rose as more and more demonstrators arrived, yelling at federal agents lined up on the sidewalk in front of the home. An agent could be heard speaking through a bullhorn: "You are too close... if you do not comply, we will use force."
Around 11:15 a.m., things came to a head, with officers using cans to spray the growing crowd. Prepared after last week's raid on Bro-Tex LLC., community members were equipped to treat those who had been targeted with chemical irritants.

They should get some jail time for interfering with law enforcement. Otherwise it will just continue.

Maybe this is all a bit overboard just to arrest a single person. Aren’t you all about cutting waste and improving government efficiency? This is horribly inefficient and wasteful and not to mention, cruel to treat normal Americans like they’re some enemy force.

The victims of the criminals may very well see it differently. While this guy had been deported before and was able to return, it will be extremely difficult for him to enter our country again, at least during this administration. The bottom line is that we have to decide if we are a nation of laws or not, decide if our Republic is to continue.
