[Martyr's Crown]

Fearless in Christ!

I will be made fearless,
before my enemies.
I will lift up my given banner,
and walk on in Christ's victory.

Everything taken from me,
everything done towards me.
It will be restored back to me,
if not now, then when the day
of the Lord is here.

I will be made whole again,
I will be made new in Christ.
All of the losses in this life,
will lose it's value to me.

This might still somehow grieve me,
these are visible scars put on me physically.
Yet it won't stop me,
from standing up for my Lord and Saviour.

I may be wounded,
by my enemy.
I may have been targeted,
by them from the start.

But despite all of the pain,
despite all of the sorrows and
earlier confusions.
I will not put down my guard,
I will stand in my Lord Jesus Christ's authority.

I will trust in my Lord,
I will continue believing in Him too.
He will make me fearless,
He will make me victorious
through Him as well.

I am glad it inspired you. The Day of the Lord's Return will be a Great Day for us who loves Him! It should be what we look forward to the most, what we are getting prepared for in this life!

It is so easy getting too busy with everything we have in this material world that we forget about what's the most important, and this life is nothing compared to the life we will have together with God in heaven.

I'm waiting for Christ's return! I've been through a lot in the past 14 years and Christ was my main focus. Just waiting for relief, waiting for healing, waiting for death, waiting for Him. We can't succeed in anything without Him. Very nice poem and a good reminder that "He will wipe away all tears".

I am happy this poem touched you, it is encouraging for me too knowing when something I write does.

You seem as a person having a strong faith in God, keep on holding on to Him! As it is going to become more and more difficult for those who are true Christian believers in the coming time in front of us, the falling away of the churches are becoming more visible nowadays. Many will go away from the faith, there is one bible verse which I have been much reminded of last times; I am not too sure of where it is exactly written but I believe it is in the new testament somewhere(I can check where it is a bit later and add it in here if needed), where it says: "will there still be any faith left when He returns?" The enemy are working on getting rid of faith, in the end of days(which I also believe strongly we are in already)many will ridicule those who still depend on God with faith. It is already happening.

But when we keep on holding on to our given faith in God as well as keep on being faithful and true in our relationship to Him, enduring till the end, we will be promised eternal life. And we have nothing to lose, really!
