Dysfunctional we are,
In a state of mass confusion,
If the truth we push aside,
And we bow to the illusion.
Deception now abounds
Mostly everywhere we look,
While deceivers working now
To get all onto their hook.
Masqueraders plenty
Playing, “Guess now who we are?”
But according to God’s Word,
They will not get very far.
Yes, the beast must rise and fool
All the masses in his net,
And the world will crash and fall,
But the end, it is not yet.
We must go through tribulation,
And be killed for what we know,
If we do not take his mark
On our lives, and that will show.
But the Lord, He will be with us,
If our love for Him is pure,
If we follow His example,
And our trials we endure.
If we follow in His footsteps,
Now go with Him where He leads,
Leave our lives of sin behind us,
On His Word we daily feed.
Do not fear now what awaits us,
With the passing of our days,
Listen to what our Lord teaches,
Follow Him in all His ways.
