How many more of these ones can we lock up and then if ever released send back home?

Hopefully plenty.

Unless they hide out in a sanctuary city that is.

They made their money selling drugs. If people would abstain from drug abuse, these gangs would lose power. Based on what is happening in California, Nevada and Colorado, it seems like drug abuse is not going away.

If it costs $35,000 a year to lock up a drug dealer, who will pay to lock up all these people? If you build a wall, people will use ladders to scale it and dig tunnels underneath it. Drug cartels are already using tunnels under popular border crossing towns.

A little homework will show that these ones do many other things besides selling drugs such as murders kidnappings extortion etc etc etc so if there were no drugs in the world these ones would still be tormenting others.

The same would happen if we made prescription drugs illegal.

If I was doing that overseas, that's what I'd want to have happen to me.

It actually has happened. Back in the 60's or early 70's the FDA made certain powerful prescription diet pills illegal. They immediately appeared on the streets called yellow jackets, etc.

That is true. They aren't any different than the mafias. They diversify into other criminal activities as well as legal ones.
My concern is are they getting any of the head honchos or just the little street guys which will just be quickly replaced.
