  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Listening to the theme tune for Jurassic Park, I couldn't help but imagine that this is one of the most uplifting and gracious theme tunes ever made for a Hollywood film. Star Wars theme tune is also another great one but it doesn't have the same effect as Jurrassic Park. There's something raw and earthy about the JP theme tune. Star Wars is a bit too spacey perhaps.

JP is a good one, then again you can't really go wrong with anything from John Willaims. Steven Speilberg and George Lucas seem to use him for every film they do, and his scores always do wonders in stirring emotion within the film. My favorites of his would have to be Star Wars or Close Encounters. Besides those I enjoy the following:
2001:A Space Odyssey-Kurbrick always has great scores also.
Requiem for a Dream
Lord of the Rings-All 3 of them are great.

The four soundtracks I listen to the most often are the three from Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Yes I agree. The soundtrack for Pirates is out of this world! I love it.

most of the songs from Lodr of the Rings, especially the theme of Rohan

great composing

You mean great composition. LTR is good but there are some seriously wierd stuff in there.
Perhaps the greatest score for a one man action flick may well be the Terminator tune.

Another awsome soundtrack is from the movie "Virgin suicides"
And The Passion of the Christ's soundtrack sounds good, (so far, havent heard all of it yet)
