I like Battlefront (1) fighting droids because it isn't like killing people or animals, just robots, I'm against killing biological sentient beings because I'm basically Buddhist not Christian

Portal. Yeah, that's it.

and if you don't want to count that, then it's a tie between Half Life 2 (including the Episodes) and Bioshock.

It was System Shock 2 for many years before Bioshock took #1. After that, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Halflife.

Old school Day of Defeat. Caen2 was honestly my favorite map in the entire game.

Doom. Doom II. Rise of the Triad. Duke Nukem 3D. Shadow Warrior. Quake. System Shock. Daggarfall: The Elder Scrolls II. Half-Life. Morrowind: The Elder Scrolls III. Half-Life 2. Oblivion: The Elder Scrolls IV.

I want to count Terminal Velocity and Magic Carpet 1 & 2... but I don't think they count as first-person-shooters.

i had the original Unreal Tournament for the Macintosh and loved that quite dearly. Unfortunately I no longer have a Macintosh old enough to play it.

There are far too many to just pick one!!

- Planetside
- Doom 3
- Quake Arena/Team Arena
- Unreal Tournament 2k4 (Haven't tried UT3 yet)

Crysis looks really cool too but my laptop just can't run the darn thing!

America's Army.
Maybe not the best FPS out there, but I liked it.
Besides, it's the FPS I played most, normaly I'm more into RTS.

What kind of mac do you have? If it will not run older applications natively, try SheepShaver

Then use these instructions to install and old mac system.

Apple even hosts the old roms on their website so i see no legal. problem with this

Interesting... I'll have to give that a try. There are multiple applications I'd enjoy running from the good ol' pre-OSX days.

My most memorable moments in my FPS history though, is beating the first Doom with only the brass knuckles when I was 10, with my brother(good friend) Ian.

Can't wait for Killzone 2 to come out for PS3!
