Computer, reading, sewing, & driving (believe it or not, it does)

Computer & reading for me as well...I like to do word & puzzle games on the computer and am currently hooked on Big Kahuna Reef (but got my dh hooked on it as well, yeah! lol)

I love to relax with a good book, but the only reading I'm doing now is my devotionals because I'm working on cross-stitch & other projects for Christmas presents...I guess that's kinda relaxing but I'm beginning to feel the pressure of getting everything done!

Whooooo . . mine too! Though RP'ing online and chatting rank even higher, and basking in the sun (real or tanning bed, I'm ashamed to admit) as well as reading, writing, and eating! *Chocolate, preferably!*

That is my favorite way to relax in the summer too. A few times over the summer after work, I would take a good book and an order of California roll sushi and head for the beach, Ahhhh....I wish it was still warm enough to do that - I had a particularly hard day at work

my favorite way to relax is a good cup of tea,my backyard swing and a good Beverly Lewis book. Another way for me that helps with stress is working in my flowerbeds!!!

Something to read, a cup of coffee, preferably outside on a beautiful day.

Sitting around a campfire, staring at the fire, is also a good alternative in cooler weather.

I love Beverly Lewis, she writes so wonderfully about the Amish way of life. Did you know that there's two new books out now..?
1) "The Preacher's Daughter"
2) a collection of Amish Desserts cookbook. (from all the books I've read about their desserts, it sounds yummy!)

Get in my jeep and head for the high country to one of the 3 fire lookout towers in the mtns where I live and listen to the silence, the animals and sometimes the wind through the pines...especially when life dumps on a person...solitude reminds us of God's still small voice and that even when lifes not, He is good.

When I have time to relax, I like to read a good book. Francine Rivers has written some great books. I have read quite a few of her books lately. I also love to relax by doing any type of hand embroidery, smocking, or quilting. And lately I have found a new way to relax. My husband and I have been taking drives in his car with the sun roof open. So I can watch the stars. With some jazz or blues on the cd player.
