hi all. just wondering if any, whose your favorite tv preacher, priest, pastor etc? I myself always like to hear dr tony evans preach. he gets fired up for jesus. im not a fan of very many of them but I like him. I also like seventh day Adventist pastor doug batchelor as well.

Well, I like T.D. Jakes, and Joyce Meyer are my top two favorites, they're not perfect, and I have caught them in a few mistakes here and there, but does that mean we shouldn't listen to them,

Jesus warned Jesus about the scribes and Pharisees plenty of times, but then he tells you, "all the things they say do, DO. But do (not do) according to their needs or deeds, for they say but do not perform, they talk the talk, but can't walk the walk, so listen to their teachings and use careful discernment according as to how you should obey....

I like quite a few.About the only ones I get to listen to are on in the morning from 9-12. I like T.D. Jakes a lot.

Honestly, the only televangelist should be the Bible.

First one must define what is preaching and what isn't preaching? Since I'm unwilling to go the necessary extent to prove my position on my question, I'll decline to answer it.

I don't know if you would call these guys televangelists or not but I enjoy the works of max lucado and kyle idelman as well.

Haven't heard of Kyle Idelman but have read some of Max Lucado's articles.

Also, when listening to T.D. as well as some of the others, they bring out a point I've never heard before or expressed in that way.

kyle idelman has the h2o and gods of war series. he also has an easter and Christmas video series as well. I like his videos and how he talks about Christianity. ive never watched td much but I do know who he is. I think my favorite might be tony evans. if youre not fired up for jesus after hearing him preach I don't know what else to tell somebody lol.

I am not a big fan of televangelism in general, but I did used to enjoy the Rejoice in the Lord broadcast when I had satellite television. Obviously, I did not agree with everything the pastor said, but I appreciate the program overall. In-Touch (Charles Stanley) is not bad either, but I feel his televised sermons do lack a bit of "meat."

If one is seeking a televised sermon, I would personally recommend looking at local stations to see if any area churches televise their sermons. I live in a rural area and some do even way out here.

Tony was a classmate of mine in Seminary and his church was a sister church of ours. Outstanding preacher--solid.
