CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like taking pics of nature, critters of all kinds, and old buildings. The idea of taking pics of all the churches in your county is an interesting idea...I might borrow that. Would make for some fun motorcycling/picture day.

I like taking pictures of landscapes (mountains with forest, woodland with river etc) and animals.

Since I live 3 blocks from the Atlantic, I tend to do a lot of seascapes. But I love to take ultra close-ups of flowers. I use a 200mm macro zoom with a 6X magnifier on the front. I get some really unique shots. I also love to walk through the woods in early spring and shoot close ups of newly sprouted leaves or flowers. And to make it a real challenge, I try to shoot using only available light.

Nature, animals, architecture, most anything that "catches my eye" some people carry a loaded weapon, I carry a loaded camera
