There are several passages that really stand out in my memory, but here are three of them:

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight (Mark 1:3).

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world (John 1:29)

Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him and will sup with him, and he with me (Rev 3:20).

[Citizen of the Kingdom]

I like this verse b/c it shows how we also are of 3 parts; body, soul and spirit and that His pray for us is to keep us totally healthy and fit. And what brings that about? His peace.

"And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (I Thessalonians 5:23).

This speaks volumes to those who love Jesus

"And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry" (I Timothy 1:12).

John 6:54 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.

Man can't live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from God. Jesus is the Bread that came down from heaven.

I can't even put words around the thought of what it means to devour Him. Only when there is a deep hunger would one ever know. Only when one has tasted, and drunk deeply will one know.

Taste for yourself, and eat daily, drink often.

This verse tells me that the Lord provides for us as the shepard does his sheep
