Favorite Rpg Characters

Since when does an RPG have to be a turnbased game? Megaman Zero is an RPG, cuse you can level up, and thats not turned based.

Yes, that means that Megaman Zero is an action/rpg. Like Devil May Cry and Secret of Mana. The keyword is Action. Yes, Zelda could be considered an Action/Rpg if you like. There are also Strategy/Rpgs like Warcraft 3. Zelda is just not considered a traditional Rpg like Final Fantasy.

My favorite character would have to be Kefka from FF6, Link would be close behind though, but Kefka is just to evil to not be liked.

(don't get the impression that i liked what Kefka did, but the most evil character ever in a game, how could it not be my favorite?)

Uh, anyways, why no love Minsc from Baldur's Gate 2? I kept the guy in the party almost always if nothing for his comments.

hey, nothing is wrong with liking the bad guy. i usually end up feeling bad for the bad guy, because it seems as everyone hates him. of course they have reason to...but i still feel bad. hehe

Actually, Rpgs are based around parties and levels usually. The only exception to this rule are online rpgs, but they too have a level up system. I ask you this then. What would you consider to be the requirements for an Rpg game? I asked this long ago,and no one has yet to answer it. It's not that I don't like Zelda, its one of my more favorite series. I am just tired of people mistaking it for an Rpg. It is NOT, I repeat NOT, an rpg. It is an action game with rpg elements, but is not a full-fledged rpg. There is a difference. This list was meant for full-fledged rpgs. As for the bad guys, I dont see any harm in liking them. Some of my more favorite characters are bad guys like Sephiroth.

Yes, standard rpgs like Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, etc.
