Mine are www.allrecipes.com (I keep my own recipe box and add to it when i find a recipe i like plus you can also look up recipes based on ingredients) and http://www.recipezaar.com/menu/ (the menu section is cool - providing complete menu meals planned out based on need).

What's your favorite recipe site and why?

I have so many, but I look at Kraft alot for some really quick stuff. Meals.com is reall good too.

I love the food network and Kraft. The Kraft website is great for quick meals that fill a hungry family.

And yet...now and then I still do. Just today I bought Fix it and Forget it...since I've heard such good things about it over the years.

I love those fix and forget it cookbooks. I have used my crockpot for so many years, it really came in handy when I was single. I still buy cookbooks all the time, but I like to find the good ones on the bargain rack. I have got so many cookbooks now, I always tell myself I am not going buy anymore. But everytime I go to the bookstore, I always see one that I want. But cookbooks to me is good reading just like any other book.

I agree! I've collected cookbooks since I was about 16.

One of myfav sites that hasn't been mentioned is www.recipetips.com Great recipes and loads of pics & tips.

I too have many others but would have to look at my hubby's comp for my favs list.

I like the Food Network site however I always enjoy thumbing through a cookbook that has illustrations and picking out things that are pleasing to the eye as well as the palette!

Recipezaar (mentioned in the OP) is my go to recipe site. It has the best search function I've yet to find on any recipe website. Search by name, ingredient, 'cookbook', user, etc.

well for baking - bakerella dot com (sorry, can't post links yet) always has some really fun ideas. the downside is that some of the recipes require special equipment or take oodles of time, BUT a lot of them don't. enjoy!
