This is a little off-topic but still related to Napolean Dynamite...

I couldn't watch it once they got to the scene with the llama in it. I am genuinely and against-all-common-sense terrified of llamas. Not pictures of llamas (so don't even try it, Night), but seeing one move or in real life.....gahhhhh.

It makes my skin crawl just to think about it.

I think that I've seen the whole movie in bits and pieces though. It's pretty cute.

My absolute all time favorite movie is ROB ROY!!!!!!!! It is a flawless movie. Has anyone seen this one? History, intrigue, romance, a phenomenal sword fight, the acting is amazing and the music just gets into your inner core of being! I wish I could do the cool movie poster thingy. NightEternal, would you do that? If you can't no worries!

I don't have enough posts to post images, so I'll list some of mine.

The Bourne Identity trilogy, The Patriot, Biker Boyz, and American History X (may catch some flak for that one).

American History X!! AAAAWWWWESOME MOVIE dude. Wow, what a powerful message that movie had!

It is hard to watch though. Neo-Nazi racism in its raw form is an ugly thing for sure. I had to look away when Edward Norton 'curbed' that one guy.

I won't go into what being 'curbed' involves. Trust me, you don't want to know. :(

Definitely NOT recommended if profanity bothers you, 'cause there's lots in this one.

Homer is the MAN.

Do you have a bluetooth phone? If you do I have that ring tone and can try to upload and email it to you, if you want.

I Must admit, This thread has come as a bit of a suprise to me; Brought up in a SDA Home where we Had No TV OR Radio, All Public "Entertainment" Was banned !

After being Kicked out at 15; I Very soon Caught up on stuff:wave: ; But even now prefer Movies that "Make you Think"
My Mother, now 88, has now got a Radio, But still NO TV !!!.

Honestly I wish I'd never had a TV growing up. It was almost like we didn't because we got THREE channels...but every time I'd go to someone's house with MTV I was all over it.

They, of course, were bored sick with it.

If I had it to do over again, I'd never buy my oldest son a video game (but then he'd just want to go to his friend's houses all the time).

My Pentecostal friend always wore jeans and put on makeup when she'd come to one of our houses.

People want what they can't have.

RedNoma,

I loved the Patriot too. I saw it on the 4th of July and then to a great fireworks show. A memorable 4th. I really like movies with honor and duty, no matter what the cost. It seems we don't see as many heroes today. I grew up not too far from the area where the movie took place. We loved our Swamp Fox in SC!
