How precious, Cj- I remember talking for hours, laying my head on his chest, mesmerized by the calming sound of his strong heartbeat.

Honibee...used to do the same thing. Thank you for reminding me. Sometimes I get so focused in one memory, it is refreshing to be reminded of another.

My favorite Christmas memory is our first Christmas together. We made cookies, and past them out to our friends. We went Christmas Caroling. (Just the two of us). We decorated the Christmas tree, and than he chased me around it, saying that he wanted to unwrap an early gift. (ME)

Honestly though, every memory of him is my favorite. I really don't know how I've gotten through these past eighteen years without him. Right now, my daughter is my best Christmas memory. When I look at her, I see her father, and I know that within her, he still lives.

Hey Bevlina is that music "Singing in the rain" or "Just singing in the rain" or am I completely wrong.

I have some bad and good memories too. I try not to think to much on the bad memories, unless my son wants to talk about them.

My son has a great memory of his dad going out to play ball with him before he got to sick. He told our son, that "soon he would be the man of the house and to watch over the house and mom". Of course he was just a little fellow, eight at the time. He's now thirteen years old and still is greatful that his dad played ball with him that day, something he rarely did.

When I was in the Army, one time I told my wife we has SOS for dinner. She asked what that was. Not wanting to gross her out, I told her it was "Same Old Stuff." Brilliant, huh!

Seveal years later we were at a society type dinner and most of the men in attendance were ex-military. During dinner, the conversation somehow turned to SOS. My wife announced to everyone: "I KNOW WHAT THAT IS!" All conversation came to an absolute halt as everyone turned and looked at her. She then said "it means same old stuff." The dead silence erupted into laughter. We slept in separate bedrooms for a couple of nights but avoided divorce.

My favorite memory is that whenever I was feeling down; he was there to comfort me. If I had a problem we talked it over together. Man; I miss him soo.

We loved to fish together. Just be out in the boat and enjoy God's nature together. We live on a lake. Even now it's hard to say I live on a lake.

Many years ago when the kids were little and we didn't live on the lake; on Mother's day he came home with a boat and motor and said they were my gift. He lied; he forgot it was Mother's day! LOL
