  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hungry Howies Turkey and cheese calzones, heaven! I have not had one for ages, either. Very fattening but oh so delicious! Also a salad with Dennys ranch or a salad from Golden Corral, they have the best Ranch as well and wonderful toppings. For desert ice cream or custard. Now I am just hungrier!

Mmmm...the apple cake sounds good!

Speaking of cake, there's a hole in the wall bar/restaurant here where I live. They serve the most incredible cakes...EVER! They serve one called the Florida sunshine cake. It basically tastes like the Hostess orange cakes. The servings are bigger than my eyes and stomach. Sooner or later I'm gonna search around on the internet and see if I can find the recipe.

Another favorite meal is breakfast for dinner!!! I think someone already mentioned that, but it's the one meal that my whole family can agree on and the boys don't go "what's that?".

:)

My favorite dinner is Filets of Beef Chasseur, Baked potato with sour cream, sauteed mushrooms, a fresh spring tossed salad and for dessert Chocolate Turtle cake. Oh yeah a tall glass of sweet tea over ice.

I'd have to go with the grilled sirloin and shrimp dinner at Ponderosa. Yep, that's right. Ponderosa. Mmm Mmmm Mmmm...I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. They cook the steak to perfection and grilled shrimp dipped in butter sauce is exquisite. And you get the buffet, which includes ice cream.

That's my favorite meal.

I can shrimp and/or prawn myself to death. I am happiest with grilled shrimp and mixed vegetables, Asian style. Shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, and just keeping up the theme, let's do coconut shrimp for dessert. :)

The Lord's Supper comes to mind as my favorite meal, ;) , but if we are talking about our daily meals, I suppose nothing can beat fried eggs, over easy, with bacon, rye toast and home fries. I could eat breakfast every meal of the week.

After that, I would have to say sushi or pizza.

Mmm, I love bacon, eggs and toast too, but I love old fassioned meals too where I get a chance to eat things like my GrandMa used to make, like home cooked turkey, dressing, smashed potatoes, squash, hot bread and pumpkin pie for desert. :p
