Favorite Marvel Comic Character?

I have to say Web-Head,or Spidey,or Web Slinger.They've done some serious work on his movies,and his games(those old Sega Genisis ones were hard!)but now,it's so hard to find his show,because it only shows on ToonDisney.

My favorite is Spiderman and Venom. They make a great storyline and have been Spidey fan for about 14 years now. Although I no longer collecting comic books, my boys collect Spidey stuff now so it bring back many memories and I'm also glad that Spidey movie are out now so cannot wait to watch them!! Do you think they will bring Venom in this movie in near future?

Cable

After the brilliant re-start he got in solider x, I sad to see him starting to revert to his old character, mind the last Issue of Cable and Deadpool seemed to say there was still spark of his new character, not sure whats going on in the new x-force series mind, that seems like a return to type.

Iron Man

I just love the idea that he doesn't have super powers (I'm ignoring extremis) and that he designed this awesome suit using his natural intelligence. The technological aspect of his stories is extremely interesting to me. Plus, I just find Tony Stark to be an interesting and complex character.


Some honorable mentions are Captain/Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers) and Spider-Man (of course )

My favorite has always been Thor.
I have all the Thor comics from #126-400 or so, although I haven't collected them in years.
I was also a big Silver Surfer fan and had the whole original set from the 1960's.

It's too bad that the comic market died and trying to sell your old comics is now a waste of time as the values have dropped to rediculous levels.

LOVE Thor. He has always had some of the more unique stories in the Marvel universe. Not to mention his supporting cast. You have the Warriors Three, Sif, Loki, Odin, and Beta RaY Bill! Although I am not pleased with Thor being replaced the lead up series to that event was one of my favorite Thor runs ever. God of Thunder was a brilliant series with many epic moments.

Silver Surfer is pretty awesome as well. I assume your favorite artist for him is Jim Steranko? His covers and art always mesmerize.

If I had to choose my absolute favorite it has to be Spider-Man. He's not popular (in his world), he's awkward, nerdy, and broke. All things I can relate to. Not to mention he's had some great stories (let's not bring up the Clone saga.....), and some of the more memorable rogues galleries in Marvel. Venom, Carnage, Dr. Octopus, Electro, Kraven, and so many more.

Agreed. Spider-Man definitely has the best rogues gallery in Marvel.
Now if only they'd bring back the Eddie Brock Venom instead of this new Flash Thompson/secret agent one
